Biography

Dr. Masaoud is a Senior Statistician in the Science Branch of Canadian Food Inspection Agency and an Adjunct Professor in the School of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Masaoud received his PhD in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island in 2009, an MSc in Statistics from Budapest University of Technology and Economics – Hungary in 1999, and his BSc in Statistics from Garyounis University - Libya in 1988.

Dr. Masaoud’s areas of expertise and research interests include: (a) Statistical Models  and Methods in Epidemiology; (b) Biostatistics; (c) Longitudinal Data Analysis; (d) Linear or Generalised Linear Mixed Models; (e) Data Analysis in general
