Biography
Dr. Lortie completed medical training at the University of Ottawa (MD 2003, FRCSC 2008), she completed residency at the University of Saskatchewan and Ottawa and a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecology, endoscopic surgery and urogynecology (2008-2009) with Regina General Hospital and the University of Saskatchewan. She also completed the APGO Academic Scholars and Leaders education program in 2013 as well as the Senior LHIN Leadership course with The Ottawa Hospital.
She has a clinical focus on tertiary level surgical gynecology including expertise in the treatment of uterine fibroids, pelvic mass, endometriosis, pelvic pain and advanced hysteroscopic procedures. Her research interests include outcomes of surgical procedures and patient safety.
