Biography
Dr. Baker received his medical degree from Queen's University in 1984 and finished his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa. He completed his fellowship in Urogynecology at the University of Toronto in 1990 and has been an active member of staff at the Ottawa Hospital since then. He sees patients in the Urogynecology Clinic at the Shirley E Greenberg Women's Health Center at the Riverside Campus and maintains his Obstetrics and Gynecology practice at Sound Care Medical on Hunt Club Road.
Dr. Baker is presently a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, the International Continence Society and the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Baker’s areas of interest are the diagnosis and treatment of genital prolapse and urinary incontinence. He is fluently bilingual in English and French.
