Biography
Dr. Kristopher Dennis is an Associate Professor in the Division of Radiation Oncology at the University of Ottawa, and a radiation oncologist in the Radiation Medicine Program at The Ottawa Hospital where he is Co-Chair of the gastrointestinal and palliative site groups. His research interests include optimizing the quality and efficiency of common palliative radiotherapy treatments and understanding and preventing symptoms associated with advanced cancers and their treatments. More broadly, Dr. Dennis is Chair of the Supportive Care Committee of the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology (CARO), Chair of the Canadian Palliative Radiation Oncology Group (CPROG), a member of the Canadian Cancer Trials Group (CCTG) Supportive Care Executive Committee, and a member of the Palliative Track Annual Education Committee of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO).
