Biography
Dr. Marcos Loreto Sampaio is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa.
He has also been a part of the MSK radiology team at The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) since 2009 and practices both MSK diagnostic imaging and procedures.
He is the former MSK radiology fellowship director, MSK residency supervisor, X-rays modality lead of the department and Radiation Protection Officer. Currently, he is the lead in MSK ultrasound and lead of the Digital Office of the Department of Radiology.
Dr. Sampaio has authored and co-authored articles and book chapters on MSK imaging and he is a reviewer for Radiology and Skeletal Radiology journals. He was also awarded as best clinical teacher by undergraduate students, radiology residents, and MSK radiology fellows in past years.
