Biography
Dr. Maureen Okonkwo completed her medical degree at the University of Manitoba and subsequently completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Dalhousie University.
Dr. Okonkwo is a member of the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at The Ottawa Hospital. She sees obstetrics patients in her office at the Harmony Medical Center and through the Maternal Fetal Care Unit at The Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus.
Dr. Okonkwo provides general and high-risk obstetrical care and has clinical interests in fetal diagnostic imaging and the prevention and management of pregnancy complications. Her research interests are focused on quality improvement and the optimization of antenatal care provision to high-risk obstetrics patients.
