Biography
I have been a family doctor in Rockland, Ontario, for the last 30 years. I am a patient advocate for the Ottawa Hospital as well as for Cancer Care Ontario and the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer. I have done coroner work for 25 years. I have an interest in cancer advocacy and cancer research. I have written some articles regarding my personal struggles with cancer. I have funding for a research project involving cancer patients and the benefits of swimming on chronic pain and disability. I did obstetrics as a family doctor for many years, and I continue to teach family medicine residents and students in my rural practice.
