Biography
Dr. Nathalie Anne Côté is a Psychiatrist at The Ottawa Hospital, working primarily in the Psychiatric Emergency Department. She holds a Lecturer Status for the University of Ottawa, and has received special recognition for her mentorship and teaching of resident physicians and medical students. Outside of these academic appointments, she works at her Private Practice, which focuses on the psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care of adults with Mood and Anxiety Disorders.
Dr. Côté is originally from Athens, Greece, and grew up in Northern Ontario. She is fluent in English, French, and Greek and provides multilingual psychiatric care. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology at Queen’s University in Kingston. She completed her medical studies at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine in Sudbury, Ontario, followed by her Psychiatric Residency at the University of Ottawa, where she became the 2019 Matthew Ginsburg Award Recipient during her graduating year.
