Biography
Dr. Aubin completed her Medical School at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Dr. Aubin is an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa and a staff Obstetrician Gynecologist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Newborn Care at the The Ottawa Hospital. She has had extensive involvement in medical education that has included Basecamp workshops and CBL tutoring. She has held leadership roles in Undergraduate Medical Education including a term as Ob/Gyn Rotation Director (Clerkship-Anglophone stream). Her participation has been recognized with several awards from TOH and the University Of Ottawa. Dr. Aubin has been in practice at The Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus since 1999. She ahs a compassionate approach to providing care in Ob/Gyn. Her areas of special interest include Emergency Obstetrics and Colposcopy.
Dr. Aubin has been involved in many initiatives in the Ob /Gyn Department over the past 2 decades including More OB, CUSP Workshops, Family Medicine Obstetrics Skills, and Wellness. She has been Faculty for the SOGC’s ALARM course (Emergency Obstetrics), for many years and is dedicated to continuing medical education.
