Biography

Dr. Sydney Morin obtained her Doctorate of Pharmacy (research profile) from Université Laval.  She then went on to complete a residency with The Ottawa Hospital and Hôpital Montfort joint residency program.  She has since been practicing as a clinical pharmacist at Hôpital Montfort, primarily in cardiology and medicine.  

Dr. Morin is also involved in a variety of key initiatives, such as being a member of her hospital’s Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Committee, the University of Ottawa’s School of Pharmaceutical Sciences Pharmacy Student Recruitment and Admissions Committee, Francophones Affaires, and several others.  She is also a clinician researcher at the Institut du Savoir Montfort.  Furthermore, Dr. Morin is a cardiology preceptor associated with several universities for pharmacy students and residents.  

As a clinical professor in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ottawa, Dr. Morin is proudly committed to providing excellence in the education of the next generation of pharmacists.
