Global Health
The Department of Family Medicine’s Global Health Program encourages our faculty and residents to bring their expertise in caring for people of all ages, cultures and circumstances to those who need it most. We work with underserviced communities in Ottawa, Canada’s far north and abroad.

To help eliminate health inequities both locally and globally by promoting excellence in primary health care education and delivery.
Mission
To engage learners and educators in Global Health teaching, scholarship and clinical care in order to assist communities with unmet health needs, thereby promoting social accountability in our current and future practices.
