The University of Ottawa Department of Family Medicine welcomes International Medical Graduates (IMGs) each year.
To apply to the Residency Program at uOttawa, you must complete your application through the Canadian Residency Matching Service (CaRMS).
Eligibility
All applicants must be graduates of an international medical school holding Canadian Citizenship or Canadian permanent residency status. Applicants should be fluent in English.
It is also required that you 1) pass your Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Exam and 2) pass your National Assessment Collaboration (NAC) Examination offered by Touchstone Institute Competency Evaluation Experts.
