We work closely with organizations that help under-serviced populations, such as St. Mary’s Home for young families, May Court Hospice, The Ottawa Mission and refugee organizations. We also offer:
- Bilingual primary care services;
- On site X-ray, pharmacy and lab;
- Two clinical teams, each with nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians, both attending and resident;
- Primary care services in collaboration with a group of allied health professionals, including: social workers, pharmacist, dietitian, kinesiologist, mental health team and diabetes educators, smoking cessation counsellor, palliative care nurse, some specialty consultants on site;
- Novel teaching methods to enshrine the humanities in medicine; and,
We are the sister site to the Primrose Family Medicine Centre, so all allied health workers, after hours clinics, master schedule, FMOB teaching, and call schedules are shared between our sites.
