Introduction to Medicine Mini-courses
We offer 3 Mini-courses per year:
- Mini-course — university component: Activity reserved for Francophone students of the University of Ottawa, Cégep de l’Outaouais and Collège Nouvelles Frontières (college section)
- Mini-course — regional component: Activity reserved for Grade 11 and 12 Francophone students from Ottawa area high schools
- Mini-course — provincial component: Activity reserved for Grade 11 and 12 Francophone students in Ontario high schools
Facilitated by medical students, this activity will give you the opportunity to:
- Participate in several interactive clinical skills workshops (intubation, casting, suturing, auscultation, etc.)
- Visit the anatomy laboratory (university component only)
- Take part in an information session on admission and the medical school interview
- Listen to several testimonials from students currently in medical school
Healthcare Career Days
This event, organized in partnership with the Consortium national de formation en santé — University of OttawaChapter, aims to raise awareness among high school and university students of French-language studies leading to healthcare careers: «flkjhsd»
