Language Requirements
Most courses at the Faculty of Medicine are taught in English, French, or both. Therefore, you must be proficient in the language of instruction for your program to be admitted.
Language Proficiency Proof
If your first language is not English or French, or if you did not complete full-time studies at an institution where either language is the main language of instruction; you need to provide proof of your proficiency in the language of instruction through an approved language test.
Language Test Exemptions
You may be exempted from taking an English or French language test if you have completed at least two years of full-time studies at an institution where English or French is the only language of instruction. To do so, you must provide one of the following:
- An attestation letter from your previous post-secondary institution confirming that the language of instruction was Englis or French.
- A transcript confirming your postsecondary studies were completed at an English or French-language university.
