- You will either be required to present a poster or seminar during the event. Only students who receive their permission to write and submit the form by the deadline will be exempt from participating to Poster Day.

BMI Seminar day will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Attendance is mandatory for all students enrolled in BCH or MIC. You are expected to attend the entire duration of the session you are scheduled to participate in (AM or PM).

Anticipatory Roles
Seminar Presentation
You will be evaluated based on the following information; make sure to include it in your presentation:
- Background information and a rationale for the work
- A clear hypotheses and objectives
- The main experimental approaches
- The most important findings and interpretations
- An analysis of results with conclusions that relate back to the objectives
You will also be evaluated on your ability to describe your work and the overall appearance of your presentation.
Length
Your presentation should be 10 minutes plus an additional 5 minutes of questions, for a total of maximum 15 minutes in length.
