Awards of excellence
Awarded to a Master’s and a PhD student who have demonstrated academic excellence through their overall average and research capabilities as well as demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities related to the Faculty of Medicine or in the community.
Graduate studies mentorship award
This prize is awarded to a graduate student who has made an outstanding contribution to the mentoring of other graduate students within the Faculty of Medicine.
Graduate studies wellness champion
This prize is awarded to a graduate student who has made an outstanding contribution to the wellness and well-being of other learners within the Faculty of Medicine.
Graduate studies leadership award
In recognition of the dedication, time and effort spent to represent the Faculty of Medicine graduate students.
Graduate studies EDI champion
In recognition of graduate student who has contributed meaningfully to the Faculty's goal of creating equity, diversity and inclusion for all, and supports underrepresented groups/the four designated groups: women, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities and members of visible minorities.
Best MSc thesis
Awarded to students who wrote the most outstanding M.Sc. thesis in each of the graduate programs of the Faculty of Medicine.
Best PhD thesis
Awarded to students who wrote the most outstanding Ph.D. thesis in each of the graduate programs of the Faculty of Medicine.
Leadership award graduate studies graduate student council
Awarded to an executive member of each Graduate Student's Association at the faculty of medicine, in recognition of the dedication, time and effort spent to represent the Faculty of Medicine graduate students.
Best paper award
Awarded to the first author (graduate student, postdoctoral fellow or research associate) of the paper recognized by the Faculty of Medicine as the Best paper of the year.
