Biography

Luc Simard holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the Université de Montréal. After combining community and hospital practices early in his career, he decided to focus exclusively on hospital practice at Bruyère Continuing Care. Mr. Simard works mainly in geriatric rehabilitation but also occasionally in stroke rehabilitation and palliative care. In addition to his work as a clinician, he is an active member of the pharmacology and therapeutics committee, is a practicum instructor for pharmacy students and is working on several translation projects related to deprescribing.
