The Faculty of Medicine’s brand includes the traditional Faculty logo surrounded by our motto, Leading Innovation for a Healthier World. The logo features our official Faculty colour, Dark Purple, as well as the primary and secondary colours of the University of Ottawa, Garnet and Grey.

Safe zone area
The safe zone area is the space between any text, graphics, images or the edge of a document to ensure the logo has room to breathe. This allows it to stand out clearly, and not compete with other visual elements.
The safe zone area should be at least the height of the Tabaret Hall graphic within the Faulty logo.
Branding your department, office, program or school
Departments, offices, programs and schools wishing to establish their own identity within the Faculty of Medicine can incorporate their name alongside the brand with the assistance of the Marketing and Communications Office.
The independent creation of a logo is not encouraged in order to maintain consistency and integrity of our brand across the Faculty.
Alternate formats:
This alternate Faculty of Medicine logo must only be used in specific instances where our globe logo is not legible or visible at a reduced size. The Marketing and Communications office can determine the appropriate use of this logo.
