Bilingualism mandate
The University of Ottawa is proud of its 160-year tradition of bilingualism. Being a part of the world’s largest English-French bilingual university, the uOttawa version of Drupal has been adapted to meet the needs of our bilingual environment.
Clients are therefore required to make ongoing updates to their website in both languages.
Royalty-free Stock images
Image quality and accessibility is very important when choosing a photo for your website. It is necessary to ensure that the image is clear and not blurred/pixelated, it is size-appropriate, it does not have any text on it and it is uploaded with a descriptive alt text.
While high-quality real-life images from our campus are preferable, we understand that they aren't always available. Faculty of Medicine staff can access our corporate account through Adobe Stock which will enable you to download high-quality stock images for your website. Please ensure that the image follows our set guidelines before downloading. You may refer to our FAQs below for more information.
