Biography
Mr. Michael Iskedjian has a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Montréal and a master in of science in Administrative Pharmacy from the University of Toronto. He has also pursued graduate studies towards a PhD degree at the University of Montreal. He has over 30 years’ experience as a licensed pharmacist in two Canadian provinces (Ontario and Québec) and over 25 years as a consultant, to both government and the healthcare industry, in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR). Michael Iskedjian has taught HEOR and has acted as a lecturer and guest speaker at several colleges and universities.
Michael has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles and has given more than 120 presentations at medical and scientific meetings. His MSc thesis research has been cited over 400 times.

Research projects
Michael Iskedjian’s research interests are mainly in applied health economics/pharmacoeconomics and medical outcomes research. He has applied all types of analyses in pharmacoeconomic (cost effectiveness, cost-minimization, cost-utility and cost-benefit analyses). He has also performed various types of evidence-based research in evaluating medical outcomes. As a pharmacist, he is also interested in comparative pharmacy practice.
