Congratulations to Nayaar Islam who was awarded the 1st Place Abstract Award (Scientific Research Project) at the 2021 Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR) Annual Scientific Meeting for her team's ongoing Cochrane 'living' systematic review on "Thoracic imaging tests for the diagnosis of COVID-19".
CAR 2021 was 6 days of accredited research, science, and educational sessions that virtually hosted renowned speakers from across the country who delivered high caliber presentations. The meeting included a Trainee Day for radiologists-in-training, a CSTR Day with a focus on lung screening and exciting social events.
