The Faculty of Medicine formally recognized its 2020-2021 professorial promotions during a virtual ceremony on Thursday, January 28.
The Professorial Promotions Ceremony honours faculty members who have been promoted in their academic ranks as a result of demonstrating excellence in their respective fields and contributing to life at the Faculty, and to officially acknowledge them with the presentation of a certificate.
Although normally a chance to applaud colleagues in person at Roger Guindon Hall, this year the handshakes were absent. However, celebrations were still in full swing as the community joined in from home in support of their peers.
