Through public engagement, open discussions and knowledge promotion, Brain Health Awareness Week (BHAW) aims to advance public awareness about brain health.

BHAW is a five-day, annual event in Ottawa, hosted by the uOBMRI, a world-class leader in neuroscience research and treatment of brain disorders. Areas of research include Parkinson’s disease, neuromuscular disease, spinal cord regeneration, neural dynamics and memory and cognition.
