Discover exciting research advancements happening in Ottawa at the 6th annual Brain Health Awareness Week (BHAW), happening September 30 to October 4, 2019!

Join the University of Ottawa Brain and Mind Research Institute (uOBMRI) as they highlight exciting advancements in brain research from their talented members. From mental health to multiple sclerosis, uOBMRI members look forward to sharing new research and treatments during this exciting week.

What is Brain Health Awareness Week?
Brain Health Awareness Week (BHAW) is a week-long, annual event in Ottawa, hosted by the University of Ottawa Brain and Mind Research Institute (uOBMRI), a world-class leader in neuroscience research and treatment of brain disorders including neural dynamics, stroke, MS, mental health, and memory and cognition. Through public engagement, open discussions and knowledge promotion, BHAW aims to advance public awareness about brain health.

How can you participate?
Brain Health Awareness Week is open to anyone interested in brain health: community members, patients, caregivers, health care practitioners, students and more!
