Faculty of Medicine COVID-19 Pandemic Response Funding Program results announced

The program allots a total of $500,000 to 11 projects that aim to accelerate COVID countermeasures and mitigate the spread of the virus and its negative consequences.

The Faculty of Medicine’s COVID-19 Funding Program has selected eleven projects for a grant of up to $50,000 each. The projects represent a wide variety of approaches to tackling the spread of the coronavirus and mitigating its negative consequences. They were chosen on the basis of being highly feasible with immediately achievable and important results, and providing evidence to inform clinical and public health responses or decision-making about the pandemic.
