On Tuesday, December 3, give to a cause close to your heart by participating in GivingTuesday. GivingTuesday is a global movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Black Friday. Billed as “the opening day of the giving season,” it’s a time when charities, companies and individuals join together and rally for their favourite causes.
This year, the Faculty of Medicine encourages donations to three priority funds:
- From local to global : Support students eager to make a difference. Your contribution will increase their involvement in global health initiatives and education.
- Help students of medicine focus on their studies : When a student's mind is in a state of mounting pressure, financial support is the open valve that offers relief.
- Leading-edge research fights cancer : When big ideas meet well equipped labs, we can turn dreams into action. Join the FoM's fight against cancer through innovative research.
On December 3, keep an eye on your email inbox, when we’ll send you a link that you can click to make a donation. We’ll also post the links on our social media channels Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with the hashtag #GivingTuesdayCa.
