A delicious buffet of delicacies was laid out for all to savour and enjoy, and holiday punch was raised in a toast to the Faculty’s good work.

Those celebrating anniversary years with the University were honoured as part of the festivities. Dr. Rama Nair, Vice-Dean of Professional Affairs, presented awards to staff and faculty in recognition of milestone anniversaries from five to 35 years of service at uOttawa.

Party games brought out the social butterflies in guests and encouraged all to meet, mingle and make new acquaintances. Collegial spirit is highly valued in the Faculty of Medicine as staff and faculty work toward the common goals of continued excellence in research, service to students and education.

Faculty leaders met and chatted with the party-goers as they circulated in the crowd serving hors d’oeuvres and raffling prizes.

Emcee Matthew Armour fuelled the festive spirit with his colourful hosting throughout. His lively commentary entertained the crowd and ensured everyone enjoyed their afternoon of seasonal fun with friends and colleagues.

Happy Holidays to all!
