Student Ambassador Program

At our open house and recruitment events, you'll have the exclusive opportunity to meet and interact with our dynamic Student Ambassadors.

Our ambassadors are passionate and committed representatives of our undergraduate Doctor of Pharmacy program (PharmD), ready to share their personal experiences, academic achievements and campus life with you.

By meeting our ambassadors, you'll have the opportunity to get an authentic glimpse of what our pharmacy program at the University of Ottawa has to offer.

It's important to note that our Student Ambassadors are spokesperson for our program. They are not admissions counselors or academic experts. Consequently, they are not skilled to answer questions about the admissions process or prerequisites courses. This program is solely meant to highlight the PharmD student experience at the University of Ottawa. Student Ambassadors will not disclose content regarding interviews or assist in interview preparation.

We are so excited to welcome you and introduce you to our incredible Student Ambassadors during your visit to the University of Ottawa!

Hello, my name is Liane, and I’m thrilled to accept the position of ambassador in the undergraduate Doctor of Pharmacy program at the University of Ottawa. I applied for this position because I’d like to build a solid network and make new friends among the students, faculty and professionals. I’m interested in sharing my personal experiences and encouraging pharmacy students to take a more active role in their academic journey. As a program ambassador, I will have the opportunity to encourage people to discover our magnificent campus, positive environment, and the high learning standards here at the University of Ottawa.

My name is Stephanie Perron and I’m from North Bay, Ontario. I completed my BSc Biopharmaceutical Science at the University of Ottawa before being admitted to the PharmD program. I really enjoyed the experiences I had at the start of this program, and I can’t wait for the rest of my courses! I know a lot about the University of Ottawa, I love the city and I want to be of service and help future students by sharing my experiences and giving my advice on the admission process. I’m very excited to be representing the pharmacy program so I can contribute to promoting its continued success!
