OUR MISSION: To expand our impact on the health of individuals and populations in both official languages through interdisciplinary education, research and responsive care.
2025-2030 Strategic Plan
Message from the dean
With great pride, on behalf of the Executive Leadership Team, I’m pleased to share the Faculty of Medicine’s 2025-2030 Strategic Plan.
The culmination of 18 months of collaboration across our community, our new plan builds on the many successes we have worked tirelessly to achieve during our 2020-2025 Strategic Plan. Even in the face of unprecedented challenges, including a global pandemic, the unwavering dedication of our Faculty community led us to accomplish nearly every single one of almost 200 action items.
Holding true to the vision we set for ourselves five years ago, this new plan sharpens our approach, showcasing three strategic platforms: Transformational Education; World-Class Science and Discovery; and Strong Communities through Partnerships. These platforms are underpinned by five unifying priorities: Francophonie; Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and Social Justice; Innovation and Technology Integration; Local and Global Impact; and Reconciliation, Action and Indigenous Health.
Our new mission, “To expand our impact on the health of individuals and populations in both official languages through interdisciplinary education, research and responsive care,” represents a refinement of our purpose that articulates clearly what we are striving to achieve.
As we celebrate our Faculty’s 80th anniversary this year, I’ve never been more impressed by our community, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us. Let’s continue our journey together, leading innovation for a healthier world.
