Biography
Vivian Lee is a drug information pharmacist at The Ottawa Hospital / OVRDIS with a practice background in internal medicine, nephrology and sterile compounding. She obtained her B.Sc.Phm. at the University of Waterloo in 2012 and completed certificate training in anticoagulation, sterile compounding and knowledge translation. She enjoys teaching in both academic and clinical settings, and guest lectures at the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy as well as precepts the Journal Club and Drug Information rotations for the TOH-Hôpital Monfort joint pharmacy residency program. As a proponent of inquiry-based learning, Vivian founded the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists Ontario Branch Journal Club in 2016, where she has since facilitated over 50 sessions on therapeutics, medication safety, knowledge translation and scope of practice, participated by acute and ambulatory care pharmacists across Canada.
