Professor Wong studies topology using geometric and algebraic tools. His work explores the connections among low-dimensional topology, contact geometry, Floer theory, and categorification. He joined the University of Ottawa in 2023 after postdoctoral positions at Louisiana State University and Dartmouth College. He completed his Ph.D. at Columbia University in 2017.
