Biography

Application and development of thermochronology and geochronology to geologic problems of regional tectonic interest, particularly resolving the low-T events; understanding the deformation and metamorphic controls of crustal rheology.

Present studies include: [1] extensional tectonics of the Cyclades (Aegean Sea, Greece); [2] exhumation of HT & HP rocks, Bohemian massif (central Europe) & Grenville Province (Canada); [3] thermochronometry & thermal histories of the Canadian Cordillera and other petroleum systems; [4] Neoarchean to Paleoproterozoic tectonics of Laurentia, with implications for metallic ore deposits.
