Kyra St-Pierre

Kyra St-Pierre received her Ph.D. from the University of Alberta in 2018. She then spent four years as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia in partnership with the Hakai Institute. She joined the University of Ottawa as an assistant professor in 2023. Her research group, the Land-to-Ocean (L₂O) Biogeochemistry Lab, combines tools and techniques from environmental chemistry, earth sciences, ecology, hydrology, limnology and oceanography to understand aquatic ecosystem function and how those ecosystems respond to environmental change.
