Research Office

The Research Office was established to support and promote research at the Faculty of Science. It serves as the main liaison between granting agencies and researchers, as well as with University of Ottawa research services.

The office also assists researchers in preparing grant and scholarship applications, as well as research chair applications and award nominations.

Research Funding

Faculty of Science Development Fund

The Faculty of Science Development Fund, created from overhead funds collected on research contracts, is available to researchers of the Faculty of Science. Funds are available to support projects that will significantly contribute to research activities within the Faculty of Science. This may include matching funds for various internal and external research programs, seed funds to develop new research initiatives, and funds for general improvements to the research infrastructure of the Faculty of Science.
