Undergraduate Research Scholarships
Each year, the Faculty of Science of the University of Ottawa offers 16 Undergraduate Research Scholarships of $11,500 each. The Undergraduate Research Scholarship gives students the opportunity to live a very unique experience. The recipients work with scientists and take part in important scientific discoveries before they even start their studies.

Entrepreneurship
The Faculty of Science is committed to entrepreneurship, either through activities, training, programs, or support of ideas and initiatives from its students, staff or professors. Central to our vision is that scientists and staff with entrepreneurship skills are in high demand.
If you are interested in entrepreneurship and want to pursue on that path, explore the ecosystem of programs, events and resources available both within and outside the Faculty of Science.
Science Students’ Association
The Science Students’ Association (SSA) is the Recognized Student Government for all 4,000+ undergraduate Science students at the University of Ottawa. From academic representation to social events, we strive to enrich the university experience of our students. Our Association Council is comprised of 13 Executive Members, 4 Managers, and 21 Departmental Representatives, with three additional Executive members during the summer months.
The best thing about the SSA is that we are completely student-run!
