This training will provide video instruction and a supplemental, printer friendly presentation regarding the use of fire extinguishers and information on when to predict, how to prepare for, and how to protect yourself and others from a fire in a research lab. This training takes roughly one hour.

Mandatory for all persons working in chemistry laboratories including term employees and those working by grants. It is highly recommended that anyone working with flammable reagents, pyrophoric chemicals, reactive metals and gases take this training.
