Topics addressed in presentations will range from civilians and warfare, refugees, occupied territories, language and national identity, the World War II Galicia Division, oligarchs and corruption, gender and war, media, decolonizing Ukrainian studies, and the war in cinema.

The seminar will also profile two new books on the war – by Serhiy Kudelia (The Inception of Russia’s War on Ukraine) and Marta Dyczok (Ukraine not “the” Ukraine).
