Forward-looking evaluation of climate change impacts on the transportation sector in Quebec and Canada

On September 25, 2024, the Centre on Governance will host a conference entitled Prospective evaluation of the impacts of climate change on the transportation sector in Quebec and Canada. This event is organized with the École Nationale d'Administration (ENAP) of Quebec, and will serve as a platform to launch of a new research program. The event is supported by a SSHRC grant and the Fonds de recherche du Québec. The conference aims to bring together national and international experts and practitioners in ground transportation, public policy evaluation, economics and climate change to discuss the challenges and opportunities arising from the climate change expected in Quebec and Canada by 2100. The main objective of this conference is to federate different areas of expertise and strengthen the reliability of anticipations concerning climate impacts on the ground transportation networks, to guide future policies and actions.
