Imagination and Representation

Field methods and mapping workshop. After a walk around the Rideau Canal, participants will be invited to (re)present their experience on various media. Art materials will be provided for those who wish. The workshop aims to discover the dense methods of observation and description possible in Anthropology and the various multimodal avenues possible in the discipline through a concrete experience.  The workshop will take place during the 21st Century Anthropology class (ANT2528), but all are welcome to join.
