The University of Ottawa offers more than $86,000 for 4 years, now available to international students. The admission scholarship1 is available to students who apply for admission by the application deadline (Canadians, permanent residents and international students) whose admission average is 8.0 / 10.0 or more and who register full-time without interruption for the duration of the scholarship (12 consecutive sessions). There is a limited number of scholarships.
Annual funding is provided for four years which includes the scholarship, valued at $9,000, and a teaching or research assistantship, valued at $12,508*. The total value of the scholarship and teaching assistantship is $21,508.
*This is the minimum guaranteed amount, subject to any increases negotiated through collective bargaining by CUPE, the union that represents teaching assistants and research assistants.
