Call for nominations: senior fellows

The Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) at the University of Ottawa welcomes nominations for the position of Senior Fellow.

GSPIA Senior Fellows are seasoned public and international affairs professionals (with careers in government, business, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, journalism, etc.) who contribute their knowledge and experience to the School’s teaching, research, and outreach activities.

Senior Fellows typically perform some or all of the following tasks: mentoring students on professional matters, sharing expertise with students for academic assignments, guest lecturing in courses, speaking at workshops, panels and conferences, and taking active part in research networks and projects. Appointments are for an initial three-year period with the possibility of a two-year renewal. The time commitment is between half a day and one day per month on average.

The GSPIA is particularly interested in candidates with knowledge and experience in the following policy areas: Indigenous affairs, agriculture and agri-food, health, social development, international development, and media and communications. Experience and expertise in the following regions are also an asset: Arctic, China and East Asia, India and South Asia, Russia and Central Asia, Oceania.
