M. Denomme-Sotten and Raffaella Esposito
Each year, the Department of Criminology and the University of Ottawa offer the Chuck Talbot Scholarship to students in the French and English programs who have made remarkable contributions during their field placements. Scholarship candidates were nominated by their field supervisors and were then invited, alongside their classmates, to support the nomination.

This year, 13 students were nominated:  Rosalie Côté (Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre), Ereyn Pablo (Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Montérégie-Est), Laurianne Couture (Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de l’Outaouais, Le Tremplin), Yasmine Lamrioui (Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de l’Outaouais, LSJPA), Mathilde Dénommé-Cotten (Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue), Arianne Gagnon (Agence Sociale Spécialisée de l'Outaouais), Siera Mohun and Michael Wilson (Collaborative Justice Program), Mia Kopke (Ottawa East Probation and Parole), Ray Octavious (Civilian Review and Complaints Commission for the RCMP), Raffaella Esposito (Correctional Service Canada, Human Rights Division), Laura Massi and Emily Malizia (Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de l'Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal, Batshaw Youth and Family Centres).

Please join us in congratulating the 2023-2024 Chuck Talbot recipients, Raffaella Esposito from the Anglophone cohort, and Mathilde Dénommé-Cotten from the Francophone cohort!
