The School of Political Studies is proud to announce that one of its own, Ibrahim Musa, a dedicated graduate student, has been honored as a recipient of the prestigious McCall MacBain Scholarship. This award marks a significant milestone in Ibrahim's academic career and highlights his exceptional contributions to the field of political science.

Ibrahim recently completed a bachelor's degree in political science and now works for the City of Ottawa, managing contracts for a $300-million funding program for childcare centres. He created a non-profit organization offering haircuts to youth in need, running it for five and a half years, and volunteered as a tenant ambassador for the Ottawa Community Housing Corporation. Ibrahim also served on the board of a local educational charity. Hoping to become an advocate for children in Quebec, he has been admitted to law school at McGill.

Ibrahim Musa, has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to understanding and solving complex political issues. Ibrahim's academic journey at the School of Political Studies has been marked by a rigorous pursuit of knowledge and a drive to contribute positively to society through his work.

The McCall MacBain Scholarship, renowned for its competitive selection process, provides full funding along with a comprehensive leadership development program. It supports outstanding students who have shown leadership potential and a commitment to making a difference in their communities. Ibrahim was selected from among hundreds of applicants from around the world, a testament to his leadership skills, academic achievements, and potential for future impact.
