Colette Guillaumin’s Résonance de la pensée au sein du mouvement lesbien francophone au Canada(D. Bourque and J. Coulombe, 2023) presents C. Guillaumin’s perspective on political lesbianism and the specificity of women’s oppression. It also includes testimonies from lesbians on the impact of the sociologist’s analyses on their activism. These testimonies were presented at the international conference Penser la (dé)naturalisation de la race et du sexe : Actualité de Colette Guillaumin (University of Ottawa, 2019), during a round table organized by Line Chamberland, holder at the time of the Chair on homophobia at UQAM.
