The Senior Fellows program offered by the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs pairs Public and International Affairs Master’s students with some of Canada’s most experienced policy professionals. These include educators, private sector leaders, leading journalists, senior military leaders, former diplomats, and policymakers. Students can seek guidance during one-to-one sessions, but they are also invited to engaging events throughout the year. These open doors to new professional possibilities through the delivery of informative presentations, practical workshops, and bespoke recruitment events in French and in English.
Learning events cover a wide range of topics.
Last year, professional development events included:
- Writing workshop by award-winning author and journalist, Madelaine Drohan
- Writing in French by former Independent Senator and journalist, André Pratte
- Recruitment spotlight: CVs and Interviews by Marie-Hélène Chayer
- Communications workshop led a panel of Senior Fellows including Artur Wilczynski, Thao Pham, Marie Vastel, Goran Pesic, and Martha McLean
