Robin Higham had an accomplished career as a diplomat with Canada`s Foreign Service and as a senior federal public servant. Robin served as Canada's Permanent Representative to the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), the UN World Food Program, the World Food Council and the International Fund for Agricultural Development in Rome from 1978 to 1982. After holding a number of senior positions at Agriculture Canada and at Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) in Ottawa, Robin was appointed as Canada's Ambassador to Morocco in the 1990s. He also headed Foreign Affairs' Bureau on International Cultural and Academic Relations.
