The two-year MA in Public and International Affairs provides students with a superb education to pursue or advance a career as a policy professional in government, international organizations, non-governmental agencies, journalism, think tanks, business, or politics. The first year provides a grounding in key subjects, followed by elective courses allowing students to specialize in Canadian or international policy and the opportunity to get hands-on experience though internships or co-op placements.

Program details

In order to be considered for admission for September 2025, your application must be received by February 1st, 2025 for Canadian students and by December 1st, 2024 for international students.

Based on availability in the program, very strong applications will continue to be examined after the application deadline. Only students who apply by the deadline will be automatically considered for funding. The faculty reserves the right to close admissions at any time, after the application deadline, if the quota is reached. It is therefore important to submit your application and supporting documents as soon as possible.

Please note that admission to this program is competitive and having the minimum requirements, does not automatically guarantee admission.
