The course comprised scheduled theory, practice and self-studies of laboratory animal science, corresponding to 7.5 ECTS credits, and was completed with an oral exam and practical training with mice and rats.
My experience includes mice restraining, handling, oral gavaging, broncho-alveolar lavaging, subcutaneous/IP injections, bleeding, surgery (for tissue directed AAV delivery) and dissection of various organs such as lung, liver, heart, muscle, adipose depots, spleen, kidney or thymus.
