Please provide a brief summary of this training and your experience working with animals:
The training was focused on handling laboratory rodents (mice and rats), including euthanasia, restraint, and injection. I spent approximately 7 months working in animal husbandry for a research facility at UBC as part of a work learn position. Tasks included handling rodents for weekly cage changes, sexing and separating pups, and euthanasia. I also spent 4 months as an intern at a wildlife rehabilitation facility, handling orphaned or injured birds and mammals.
